Burning Bright display illuminates impact of overdose crisis in the Interior

KAMLOOPS — A travelling candle display has arrived in Kamloops, shining a light on the lives lost throughout the overdose crisis in the Interior Health Region. 

The 'Burning Bright' display includes 645 candles, one for each life lost over the past three years.

IH warns Kamloops drug users of naloxone-resistant cannabinoid

KAMLOOPS — Health officials in Kamloops are warning of a deadly synthetic cannabinoid.

In a tweet, Interior Health says the synthetic cannabinoid called AMB-FUBINACA has been detected in suspected fentanyl. In high doses, it can look like an opioid overdose.
